In this video today we're gonna be talking about a really interesting new sensitivity setting, that a lot of people have had very positive results with, and I've actually gotten a few different requests to make a video discussing it. What I'm referring to here, is an option in the new advanced sensitivity section called "look input curve." This setting has 2 options, exponential and linear, and the game provides a quick little description of what these 2 options do if you scroll over it. It says "Defines how input from the controller's look stick is processed. Linear uses the raw stick input. Exponential causes smaller stick movement to have less of an effect, allowing for more precision." Probably not the most easy to understand summary in the world, but don't worry because throughout this video I'll make sure that you guys understand it. So whenever you switch to the new sensitivity settings, look input curve will always defaulty be set to exponential. And the reason why, is because Fortnite has always had an exponential input curve while aiming, and before update 10.40, there was absolutely nothing you could do to change that. But now a lot of controller players are starting to switch their look input curve from exponential to linear, and as I mentioned, I've seen a pretty overwhelming amount of positive reviews. So, I hope you guys enjoy this video!
